Job summary

Barrett is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in the United States. You will independently set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a vocational or technical machining program, 1–3 years of production CNC experience, and strong knowledge of GD&T. Safety, accuracy, and craftsmanship are essential as you work to improve efficiency on the shop

Qualifications

• Completion of vocational/technical program in machining.
• 1–3 years CNC machining experience in production.
• Relevant certifications or equivalent documented experience.
• Advanced knowledge of CNC machining, setup, and operation.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Apply GD&T in machining and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Participate in training programs for skill development.
• All other duties as directed.
