Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Tennessee. You will independently set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components to exact specifications.

The role emphasizes GD&T-driven quality, blueprint reading, and safety on a fast-paced shop floor. You will engage in training programs and contribute to continuous improvement in machining processes.

Qualifications

• Completion of a vocational or technical program in machining or related field.
• 1-3 years CNC machining experience preferred in a production environment.
• Relevant technical certifications or equivalent documented experience.
• Advanced knowledge of CNC machining principles, setup, and operation.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions and inspection docs.
• Apply GD&T knowledge in machining and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Make tool and offset changes to produce conforming parts.
• Participate in training for skill development and career growth.
