Job summary

Barrett Firearms Mfg, Inc in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will independently set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, interpret work instructions, apply GD&T, and ensure safety and cleanliness on the shop floor while advancing your skills through training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Completion of a vocational or technical program in machining or a related field.
• 1–3 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in a production environment.
• Advanced knowledge of CNC machining principles, setup and operation.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and application in parts inspection.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC mills and lathes independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Apply GD&T in machining and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Make tool and offset changes to produce conforming parts.
• Participate in training programs for skill development and career advancement.
• All other duties as directed.
