TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce precision parts by operating CNC equipment in a controlled environment. The role emphasizes quality, safety, data recording, and adherence to GMP/GDP standards.

The candidate should be detail oriented with strong math skills, able to plan work, and capable of basic hand finishing while maintaining 5S housekeeping and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate and maintain a CNC machine and follow work instructions.
• Solid math skills for measuring and counting.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks within deadlines.
• Follow GMP/GDP and keep accurate records.
• Commitment to safety and quality in production.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Replace dull tooling and adjust offsets as needed for wear.
• Ensure quality via OOQ standards and inspection reports.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule and daily checklists.
• Perform hand finishing and basic finishing tasks.
• Adhere to GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report safety issues.
• Meet productivity targets and seek improvements.
• Record activities in the job-tracking system.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and address manufacturing issues with supervisors.
