Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in Cheshire, CT is seeking a CNC Machinist 1 to perform CNC turning operations on metal parts for first shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm). You’ll read blueprints, set up basic machines, and ensure proper lubrication, cooling, and quality checks.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in CNC machining, preferably in aerospace, with a High School diploma or GED and the ability to work with ITAR data. U.S. persons only, with strong attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be a US person and able to work with ITAR data.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of CNC Machinist experience, aerospace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform CNC turning operations to machine metal parts.
• Work from blueprints, instructions, and specifications.
• Set up and operate basic machine tools and related equipment.
• Align fixtures and tools, secure materials, and verify tolerances.
• Inspect parts with precision instruments and document data.
