Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in Cheshire, CT is seeking a CNC Machinist 1 to plan and perform turning and milling operations ensuring parts meet blueprints and specifications.

You will set up machines, align fixtures, monitor temperatures, document in-process data, and work under supervision. Must read engineering drawings and have 1+ years of CNC experience; U.S. person required; HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to work with ITAR data.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of CNC Machinist experience.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes and milling machines.
• Work from blueprints, engineering instructions, and specifications.
• Setup, adjust and operate basic machine tools and many specialized tools.
• Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
• Check parts for lubrication, cooling, and conformance to specs.
• Measure and test completed units with precision instruments.
• Maintain records and document in-process inspection data.
