Aerotek is hiring a CNC Machinist for a permanent, on-site role in Reading, PA. The shift runs 1st from 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, with paid overtime opportunities. Pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, depending on skills.

Environment is clean and climate-controlled, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders, programming, and performing inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
• Ability to edit and optimize CNC programs for precision parts.
• Strong measuring and inspection skills with gauges and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and Surface Grinders.
• Create and edit CNC programs for high-precision parts.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and optimize cycle times.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to complete jobs on time.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections and adjust programs as needed.
• Log job details and time using software for transparency.
• Support safety, 5S, and quality standards in a clean workspace.
