Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced CNC operator in Charlotte, NC to set up and run complex multi-operation workflows on transition components. You will perform machining, welding, bonding and finishing with high precision, interpreting blueprints and specs to choose tooling and cutting strategies.

Responsibilities include crane/ forklift operation, safety-first processes, and material handling up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in CNC operations with machining, welding, and laser exposure.
• Coating machines experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Fork lift/crane license or willingness to earn after selection.
• Career Readiness / Work Keys Silver certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC equipment for multi-operation workflows on transition components.
• Machining, bonding, welding, and manual finishing with high precision.
• Read prints and specifications to select tooling and cutting strategies.
• Use jib/bridge cranes and forklifts to load/unload parts safely.
• Follow procedures with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Handle materials up to 50 lbs daily.
