We are currently seeking a Machinist to join our team in Bridgeville, PA. In this role, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This includes fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical instruments and parts for machinery. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical skills, precision machining experience, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Work Schedule:
4-day work week (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday) from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM.

Location:
Bridgeville, PA.

Responsibilities:

Operate machine tools and equipment to perform routine and precision machining tasks.

Follow established processes to complete operational tasks efficiently.

Assist with equipment maintenance and repair, including preparation work.

Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards to safeguard yourself and others.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory codes, and company policies.

Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.

Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.

Communicate effectively and courteously with team members.

Understand and follow policies and procedures in line with company objectives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

HS Diploma/GED and/or 1–3 years of relevant machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.

Experience operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.

Ability to self-program or edit machine programs.

Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Availability to work the night shift.

Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.

Basic understanding of safety systems and procedures.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Experience machining similar parts or products in high-volume and varied settings.

Solid experience in writing and editing CNC programs.
