• Minimum 1 year Manufacturing experience in a Custom Machine Shop.
• Ability to read machine drawings/documentation.

The CNC Machinist for our EPI Labelers brand (part of the Labeling & Coding Business Line ) contributes to the success of the company by manufacturing parts according to drawings, maintaining raw material inventory in accordance with inventory control policies, and maintaining machinery through proper preventative maintenance. We offer flexible day shift hours in a modern, climate controlled facility.

Are you passionate about this work?

• Operating CNC machines
• Set up/touch off tooling
• Load programs for production
• Finishing operations, including grinding, polishing, sanding, deburring
• Operate in accordance with all safety procedures
• Assembles, repairs, fabricates metal parts
• Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels
• Partner with engineering on R & D projects
• Maintain Quality Control through inspections
• Clean up and general maintenance of shop area and machines

• Minimum 1 year Manufacturing experience, preferably in a Custom Machine Shop environment
• Machinist Certification preferred
• Excellent Safety practices and mindset
• Fine motor skills – Bending into machine repeatedly to change parts, inspection, etc.
• Ability to adapt with changing priorities and to engage in multiple jobs simultaneously
• Ability to read machine drawings/ documentation to assemble machines
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Ability to take direction and follow through with assignments as provided
• Ability to work independently while participating as an engaged team member
• Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
• Desire to produce quality product
• Creative problem solving; ability to improvise
