Leggett & Platt’s Machine Products division is hiring CNC Machinists in Missouri. You will perform machine set-ups and changeovers, inspect parts, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean work area. The role supports multiple industries including Bedding, Furniture, Energy, and Aerospace.

A performance review occurs after 90 days, with competitive wages and a full benefits package. Shifts include four 10-hour days with day or night options; weekend schedules exist with shift premiums.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience operating CNC equipment or related fields.
• Must read and understand prints/drawings.
• Must use basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc).
• Commitment to Quality Management Systems and Continuous Improvement.
• Commitment to L&P Safety and Environmental initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Do machine set-ups and changeovers.
• Report problems to the supervisor to avoid downtime.
• Identify and record problems related to product, process, and system.
• Keep area clean and orderly; follow procedures and quality plans.
• Control non-conforming product and suspend processing when needed.
• Conform to all quality/safety requirements; participate in continuous improvement.
