Job summary

Wipaire, Inc. in South Saint Paul, MN seeks a Machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision aluminum and steel parts. You will read drawings, GD&T, and use micrometers and calipers to ensure tolerance and quality.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ related experience in a machine shop.
• Certificate as a Machinist from an accredited Vocational-Technical or Trade School preferred.
• CNC programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs machining operations on manual, vertical and lathe CNC centers, primarily with aluminum and some steel.
• Sets up, adjusts, and operates basic machine tools and advanced tools for precision machining.
• Reads engineering drawings and GD&T; measures parts with micrometers, calipers, indicators.
• Suggests improvements to tooling and processes to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Ensures safety and compliance with FAA regulatory requirements.
