Job summary

Massman Companies is hiring a CNC Machinist - 1st shift in Villard, MN. The role supports production by performing machining operations on mills, drill presses, and lathes, with responsibility for tooling setup and basic programming.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical degree preferred.
• 2–3 years machining experience can substitute for a technical degree.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sets up basic tooling, writes and executes basic programs.
• Sets up, operates and programs broad range of production work with close tolerance and exacting setups.
• Reads and interprets machining instructions from blueprints and drawings.
• Performs secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycles.
• Inspects machine parts to ensure they meet size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools.
• Participates in Massman’s lean manufacturing journey.
