Job summary

Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is hiring a Finish Turn Operator to run a CNC lathe and machine forged rolls in Lima, OH. You will set up the lathe, load programs, inspect finished parts, and ensure they meet exact specifications.

This hourly position offers competitive wages starting at $24.20 per hour, plus a 401(k) plan, medical/dental/vision insurance, paid holidays, PTO, vacation, and a $1,000 sign‑on bonus; eligibility for production incentives is included.

Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring aFinish Turn Operatorfor our operation in Lima, OH. The Finish Turn Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a CNC lathe to machine our forged rolls.

Competitivewages starting at $24.20/hr with the opportunity for higher compensation based on experience and skills. Benefit/insurance package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, PTO, Vacation, Paid Relief Days,$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS,and this position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate lathe and controller
• Inspect forging/roll; report any deviation from specification
• Machine forging/roll to specification
• Preventative maintenance on lathe
• Perform other department duties, as assigned

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

• Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout shift
• Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
• Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous CNC or machining experience preferred but not required
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery preferred
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen

Classification: Hourly

Benefits:
