Job summary

S&C Electric Company, a 100% employee-owned manufacturer, is seeking a Machinist to operate automated and manual sheet metal equipment in a production cell. You will read blueprints, handle 30–150 lb stock, and maintain quality through precise measurement.

You will join a team focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement, with overtime as needed and a starting hourly pay of $22.25 plus eligibility for an annual incentive.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year machinist/manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial calipers, protractors and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and manual sheet metal machines including punching, forming, and laser cutting.
• Read blueprints and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure quality.
