Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with measurement tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and measurement standards.
• Ability to read and follow internal procedures and written instructions.
• Team oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines including mills, lathes, and CNC centers.
• Study blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine tolerances.
• Select, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and attachments.
• Set controls for speed, feed, coolant, and depth of cut; monitor operation.
• Detect malfunctions and adjust controls to maintain quality parts.
• Verify finished work against specifications and document SPC data.
• Confer with engineers and technicians to resolve setup issues.
• Able to run more than one machine concurrently.
• Maintain proper handling of hazardous waste in the work area.
