Job summary

BARNES Aerospace, Ogden Division is seeking a CNC Machinist to support manufacturing operations in Ogden, Utah. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and a strong work ethic, with training provided for the selected candidate.

Hours are 1st Shift from 6:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday with alternating Fridays. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of machining experience; aerospace experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Blueprints reading and GD&T proficiency.
• Ability to troubleshoot tooling and machining problems to ensure parts meet specs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a broad range of machining operations, including milling, drilling, boring, sawing, tapping and grinding to close tolerances.
• Operate CNC Mills and lathes, and other CNC/manual equipment across production stages.
• Use calibrated tools to ensure parts meet customer specifications and complete required paperwork.
