Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our 3rd shift team in Ogden, UT. Training will be provided to successful applicants, and a 17% shift differential enhances compensation for night work.

The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, reading blueprints, and maintaining high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T is preferred.
• 2+ years machinist experience in manufacturing environments.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate a broad range of machining operations per customer specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders and other equipment.
• Use calibrated tools and measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Complete required paperwork and checklists.
• Interface with engineers and quality personnel to resolve problems.
• Prioritize safety and quality in all tasks.
