Job summary

Aerotek in North Branch, MN seeks a CNC Programmer / Machinist to operate 5-axis mills and CNC lathes, set up tooling, and program parts using Edgecam or Mastercam. You'll read blueprints and ensure tolerances to ±0.001 inches while supporting both custom prototype work and light production.

The role offers a stable onsite environment with modern equipment, a profit-sharing program, 401(k) with company match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• CNC programming experience with Edgecam or Mastercam.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls, offsets, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.
• Experience holding tight tolerances and producing high-precision parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and 5-axis mills.
• Program parts using Edgecam, Mastercam, or similar CAM software.
• Perform complete machine setups, including tooling and offsets.
• Edit G and M code as needed to optimize performance.
• Read blueprints and ensure tolerances to ±0.001 inch.
• Inspect finished components with precision measuring tools.
• Machine various materials including steel and exotic alloys.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming challenges.
• Support both custom prototype work and light production.
