Aerotek in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a reliable CNC Machine Operator to join a small, hands-on shop. You'll set up and run CNC machines, load and unload parts, and perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

This contract-to-hire role features four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, teamwork, and quality. Mastercam is a plus, but not required, and experience with micrometers and calipers is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machines in production.
• Able to perform machine setups and changeovers.
• Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and blueprints.
• Strong quality focus with ability to inspect parts to tolerances.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and digital calipers.
• Able to work 10-hour shifts Mon-Thu.
• Comfort in a production environment including assembly tasks.
• Detail-oriented and organized; maintain safe work area.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC machinery to produce parts per specs.
• Load and unload parts safely.
• Set up and changeover between jobs with minimal downtime.
• Monitor processes and adjust for quality and productivity.
• Read work instructions, drawings, and blueprints accurately.
• Inspect completed parts for dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform quality inspections throughout production.
• Use micrometers, calipers to verify measurements.
• Report machining or quality issues promptly.
• Support assembly and other production tasks as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
• Collaborate with team and wear multiple hats.
