Job summary

Nightforce Optics in Orofino, Idaho is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support daily machine shop operations. You will set up and run CNC and manual equipment, collaborating with fellow machinists to meet deadlines and uphold quality.

Qualifications

Ability to set-up and run CNC machines without supervision.
Familiarity with inspection and tolerance techniques.
Proficiency with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial gauges, CMMs).
Ability to work with small precision parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
Monitor part quality and communicate defects or process issues.
Mentor other CNC Machinists and assist in training.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in preventive maintenance.
Support outside processes such as anodizing, heat treating, and parts finishing.
