Job summary

Premier Technology, Inc. seeks a skilled Machinist II in Blackfoot, ID to set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment fabricating metal parts to exact specifications.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, 2–6 years of experience, ability to read blueprints and G-code, and a track record of quality and safety. Excellent benefits and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 2–6 years related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work in a dynamic environment.
• US Citizenship required; ability to read and interpret blueprints and job standards.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates CNC mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers to fabricate parts.
• Selects and aligns fixtures and tools; programs and debugs machine controls as needed.
• Reads drawings and process sheets to determine work and tolerances.
• Performs inspection and gauging to ensure quality and specifications.
• Maintains machines and collaborates with engineers to resolve issues.
