Job summary

Multiquip Inc. is seeking a skilled machinist for day shift in Boise, Idaho. The role involves setting up and operating conventional, special‑purpose, and NC machines to fabricate precision metal parts.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining quality and safety standards. Requirements include an A.A. degree or machinist certificate, plus related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read/interpret drawings and specs.
• Basic CNC programming skills for mills and lathes.
• Ability to operate CNC/manual mills/lathes and drill press.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional, special‑purpose, and NC machines.
• Interpret prints and specifications to determine tolerances and steps.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to spec using appropriate tools.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and adjust setups with engineers as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
