Aerotek in Racine, WI is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to set up and run CNC lathes and mills in a production setting. This contract-to-hire role offers a four-day work week, competitive pay, and a path to permanent employment.

The position requires at least 1 year of CNC machining experience, proficiency with blueprints, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality parts. Medical and other benefits are included for eligible employees.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of CNC machining experience in a production environment.
• Experience operating CNC lathes and mills.
• At least 1 year reading and interpreting blueprints.
• CNC programming experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with multiple CNC controls is a plus.

Mansioni

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills in a production environment.
• Performing tool changes and adjusting offsets on CNC machines.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and routings.
• Performing in-process quality checks and using basic measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
• Troubleshooting machining and equipment issues independently.
• Following all safety procedures, shop guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
