Job summary

Aerotek is hiring immediately for a 1st shift machine operator onsite in Sturtevant, WI. This contract to hire role requires operating CNC machines, plasma cutters, saws, and robotic welders to form parts, while following build sheets and blueprints.

2 years of CNC or plasma cutting experience, plus 2 years reading blueprints and measuring with a tape to 1/8 inch, are required. Shifts run 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday, with a $22/hour starting pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2 years of CNC or Plasma Cutting experience.
• 2 years of experience with blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/8 of an inch.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and plasma cutters.
• Operate saws and robotic welders to form parts.
• Utilize a tape measure to perform quality inspections.
• Follow build sheets and blueprints.
