Job summary
H.T. Prof Executive Search is recruiting for a Direct Hire CNC Machinist to support a high-tech precision manufacturer in Wisconsin.
The role focuses on independent setups on CNC mills/turning centers, GD&T interpretation, and close-tolerance inspections on aerospace/medical components. The weekend-day schedule runs Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with 4 days off each week while keeping full 40-hour pay and benefits in a climate-controlled 5S shop near Big Bend, WI.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on CNC mills or lathes.
- Strong ability to read engineered blueprints, interpret G&M codes, and apply GD&T concepts.
- Willingness to work fixed weekend schedule (Fri-Sun, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
- Stable employment history and reliability.
- US citizenship or green card and reside within commuting distance of Big Bend, WI.
Responsibilities
- Perform independent setups on CNC mills and turning centers for complex parts.
- Monitor tooling wear, offsets, and maintain tolerances.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with precision tools.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cell to maintain weekend production.
- Interpret blueprints, apply GD&T, and adjust G&M codes as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized 5S-compliant station.
