Job summary

Applied Composites is seeking a CNC Machinist for the 3rd shift to operate a 5-axis CNC machine and execute programmed instructions to produce tools and parts within tight tolerances. The ideal candidate has several years of CNC operating experience, some exposure to programming, and demonstrates initiative while working under indirect supervision.

Education required is a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of CNC operating experience.
• Exposure to CNC programming.
• Ability to work 3rd shift 12:00am - 8:30am.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5-axis CNC machine.
• Run CNC programs to meet dimensional/tolerance specs.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Production to solve problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Suggest new technologies for process improvement.
• Follow practices for working with composites and other materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift hours 12:00am - 8:30am.
