Job summary

Superior Tire & Rubber Corp. is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and run a CNC Lathe or Mill, inspecting parts to required specifications and updating tooling and programs as needed.

You will work from setup sheets, coordinate with team members, perform machine maintenance, and report production and downtime while following the Superior Production System (SPS). Overtime with 40-hour weeks and multiple shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of machinist experience.
• Must complete HI-Ed Machinist course.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run a CNC Lathe or Mill.
• Update setup sheets and work cell scheduling.
• Handle tooling and machine preventative maintenance.
• Report production, downtime and efficiency; upload/download programs.
• Syteline posting and scrap reporting.
