Job summary

Superior Tire & Rubber Corp. is seeking a Part-Time CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, producing parts to strict specifications. You will manage tooling, upload/download CNC programs, and inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy while maintaining production records.

This weekend position requires dependable attendance, with hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays as production needs dictate. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of HI-Ed Machinist course.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• 2 years of machining experience and strong attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Own your workspace with safe, efficient operation.
• Maintain high attention to detail to prevent defective parts.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisor about issues and improvements.
• Set up machines, manage tooling, and handle CNC programs.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and maintain production records.
• Cross-train in other cells to support department goals.
