Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking an Aerospace Production Technician - CNC Machinist to operate and set up large CNC machines, producing precision aluminum and stainless steel parts for aerospace hardware. The role emphasizes strict tolerance control, tool setup, and program validation.

The candidate will work on a shift schedule including night shifts, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of related machining experience.
• 3 to 5 axis machining/turning experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of CNC programming.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with basic machine shop measuring tools.
• Knowledge of speeds and feeds for machine cutters.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate large 3 to 5 axis CNC machines for turning and milling of production hardware.
• Tooling fixtures setup and alignment; load CNC programs; inspect parts; deburr and wash operations.
• Validate CNC program configurations and maintain quality per blueprints.
