Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in Setauket, NY. You will set up, program, and operate 3- to 5-axis milling and turning centers to fabricate aerospace and commercial components, reading blueprints and GD&T.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, proficiency in G-code editing (Haas preferred), and a commitment to quality, safety, and process improvements. First-shift, 8 AM to 4 PM; education no degree required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Proficient in G-code editing at the machine control interface (Haas experience preferred).
• Experience with reading blueprints and GD&T callouts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Program and edit G-code for Haas or Fanuc controls.
• Perform multi-axis milling and precision lathe turning.
• Read engineering drawings and GD&T callouts to manufacture parts.
• Conduct in-process dimensional checks and routine machine maintenance.
