Job summary

Emerge is recruiting qualified CNC Machinist candidates for direct hire in the Western Cleveland area, OH, for our client, a growing precision manufacturer that supports government and military work. You will set up and operate large-scale machining equipment from detailed prints to produce parts to exact specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting finished work, adjusting programs or setups as needed, and supporting shop-floor process improvements while maintaining a safe, organized

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Experience with complex, low-volume, high-precision parts.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, GD&T.
• Experience using gauges and inspection tools to verify part quality.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate large machining centers to produce precision components.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Select tooling and make setup changes to support production goals.
• Adjust CNC programs and machining processes as needed.
• Measure and inspect parts to confirm accuracy and quality standards.
• Work with hand tools, measuring equipment, and crane-assisted material handling when required.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and share knowledge with team members.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
