Job summary

Paragon Medical, a business of AMETEK, is recruiting for a CNC Machinist to program, set up, and run CNC machining centers for complex parts. You will assist in developing new processes and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.

Position requires 3–6 years of CNC experience in manufacturing, High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to meet quality and schedule requirements. Hours: Mon-Thu 3:30pm-2am.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in a manufacturing environment with CNC experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to write and qualify CNC programs that meet print requirements.
• Capable of meeting quality and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various CNC machines, performing progressive machining to produce parts.
• Write and qualify CNC programs that meet print requirements.
• Meet quality and schedule requirements.
• Monitor tool life and replace cutting tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot programming and in-process production issues.
• Perform CNC setups for other production personnel to run.
• Run prototype or complex parts as needed.
• Provide written operational feedback to aid process improvement.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance and instruction to operators and lower level machinists.
