Job summary

Paragon Medical, a business of AMETEK, is seeking a CNC Operator to support its medical device manufacturing operations. The role involves operating milling or turning CNC machines and aligning with the production schedule.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–11:30pm. You will inspect parts with basic measurement tools and may operate CMM, ensuring quality and ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience operating milling or turning machines.
• High School or GED required.
• Proficient reading of blueprints with GD&T understanding.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines.
• Follow the production schedule.
• Inspect parts with basic measurement tools and follow in-process inspection instructions.
• Complete the traveler and place with product.
• May operate CMM.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Assist in ensuring ISO policy compliance.
• Understand and follow policies and procedures.

• Operate CNC machines.

• Inspect parts using basic measurement tools and follow the in-process inspection instructions.
• Complete the traveler and place with product.
• May be responsible to operate CMM.
• Maintain a well-organized and clean working area.
• Assist in ensuring compliance of ISO policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow policies and procedures.

Education

• High School or GED

Experience

• 0-3 years - Operating milling or turning machines.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail.
• Verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic inspection equipment (mics, calipers, gages, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of GD&T.
