Aerotek in Wauseon, OH is hiring a CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift (2pm-5pm) on a 4-10 schedule. The role focuses on programming and machining precision parts on CNC lathes and related equipment. It is a contract-to-hire position with a pay range described below and onsite work.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, tool alignment, precision measuring, documentation, and basic maintenance to ensure high-quality output. Benefits, pay details, and eligibility apply per company policy.

Responsabilidades

• Program and machine parts from blueprints and layouts, ensuring correct dimensions.
• Set up, operate and disassemble CNC lathes, mills, and grinders as needed.
• Operate CNC lathes with live tooling for complex parts.
• Machine pieces from unique materials with tight tolerances.
• Verify dimensions with gauges and measuring tools.
• Align and adjust cutting tools and workpieces for safe precision machining.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, shaping and grinding to spec.
• Complete purchase requisitions, inspection and production sheets accurately.
• Clean and deburr parts and maintain a neat work area.
• Raise questions about customer requirements when needed.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools and diagnose issues.
• Aim for high quality on schedule while minimizing scrap; use 5 Whys when needed.
• Keep a clean, organized shop with 5S practices and share best practices.
