Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Elkhorn, WI team. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills, performing QA inspections, and supporting preventive maintenance. You will ensure parts meet engineering specifications and contribute to continuous improvement.

The position is a permanent, fully onsite role on the 2nd shift (2pm–10pm), with a focus on safe, efficient manufacturing and teamwork in a standard shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC lathes and mills, including horizontal and vertical machining centers.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
• Skilled in documenting production data and quality metrics accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including tooling setup, checking inserts, making offsets, and deburring parts.
• Manufacture components accurately according to engineering prints and specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure parts meet standards.
• Document quality data and production metrics accurately for reporting and continuous improvement.
• Support preventive maintenance by performing routine checks and informing maintenance staff of issues.
