Job summary

Martinic Engineering Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist for 2nd shift to operate CNC/ conventional centers on semi-complex parts. You will read blueprints, set up machines, and work in a lean, team-based environment to improve productivity.

Responsibilities include tool adjustments, SPC, and conformance inspections using precision measuring tools. On-site role with comprehensive manufacturing benefits and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related machining experience.
• Reads and follows blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
• Able to effectively apply lean initiatives.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication in a team environment.
• Interprets reports and uses job-specific software applications (PMR, TORS, email).

Responsibilities

• Sets up and runs multiple production machines, performing operations as pre-planned.
• Aligns and fastens work using fixtures and established methods.
• Installs and adjusts cutting tools for material and tool sizes.
• Follows established manufacturing methods with standard production machines.
• Adjusts feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to produce quality parts.
• Inspects parts with gauges, calipers, micrometers, and comparators to spec.
