You’ll set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes and conventional machines to produce precision metal components from start to finish, reading blueprints and engineering drawings. Expected pay is $26–$30 per hour with overtime, and on-site training to expand your machining capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC machining experience, ideally with CNC lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and work to tight tolerances.
• Familiarity with G-code/M-code and basic program edits.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes and conventional machining equipment.
• Machine precision metal components from raw materials to finished products.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Perform tooling changes, machine setups, and frequent changeovers.
• Read G-code and M-code and make basic edits to existing CNC programs.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and perform in-process quality checks.
• Collaborate with onsite CNC programmers when complex programming support is needed.
