laborup in Northport, AL is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift to independently complete complex CNC setups on Fanuc controlled equipment, machining carbon steel and aluminum to tight tolerances in a fast-paced production environment.

You will set up, operate, program, and troubleshoot machines, read blueprints, and maintain precise inspection records, with opportunities to expand Mastercam proficiency and work with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis mills and lathes.

Qualifications

• At least three years of CNC machining experience; three to five years preferred.
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls and CNC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications.
• Experience machining carbon steel and aluminum.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Complete complex CNC setups from start to finish, including tooling, workholding, offsets, and program verification.
• Set up, operate, program, and troubleshoot CNC equipment with Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T as required.
• Machine precision parts while maintaining tight tolerances.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain production and inspection records and follow quality procedures.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
