Job summary

Woodward HRT, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift to operate and maintain multiple CNC and manual machines, including lathes, mills, Swiss, and OD/ID grinders.

You will perform first-piece inspections, interpret blueprints with GD&T, and adhere to 5S and lean principles while supporting daily production goals and quality standards. This role offers paid holidays and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC or manual machining equipment with attention to detail.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain CNC or manual machines (lathes/mills/swiss/OD/ID grinders).
• Perform 1st piece inspections and document results per SOPs.
• Follow detailed work instructions and inspect to quality standards.
• Support lean practices and keep workstation organized and safe.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and quality targets.
