Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist in Massachusetts to set up, operate, and adjust 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC lathes.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, select tooling, and optimize feeds and speeds to produce high-quality parts. The role requires 8–10 years in CNC machining, an aerospace background preferred, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. This is a full-time, direct-placement position on 2nd shift, 3 PM–11 PM.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years CNC lathe experience in 3– & 4-axis setup and operation.
• Experience with 5-axis machining is preferred.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and set up tooling.
• Aerospace background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, 5-axis) per blueprints.
• Adjust controls, troubleshoot machines and processes.
• Select tools, set feeds and speeds for production.
• Inspect machined parts with precision hand tools.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.
• Lift up to 70 lbs as needed.
• Maintain organized work area and monitor inventory.

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with a strong background in 5-Axis machining. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machines with minimal supervision to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) according to blueprint specifications.

• Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes.

• Select appropriate tools and set feeds and speeds to meet production requirements.

• Perform inspections of machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality standards.

• Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.

• Lift up to 70 lbs. as needed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machinery.

• Monitor inventory and reorder tools as necessary.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
