Job summary

Johnson Service Group in Twinsburg, Ohio is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a Direct Hire opportunity on 2nd shift. You will operate CNC lathes and mills, read blueprints and setup sheets, and follow process instructions to produce tight-tolerance parts.

The role offers $27.00–$34.00 per hour with a $4,000 sign-on bonus and a $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift. Candidates should have at least 2 years of related experience, be reliable, and able to read English work instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience operating CNC lathe or mill.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English.
• Reliable with good attendance and minimal call-offs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe and/or CNC mill to manufacture parts within tight tolerances.
• Set up machines based on process sheets, blueprints and setup cards.
• Load/unload parts and assist with tooling as required.
• Inspect own work for accuracy; ensure quality and quantity standards.
• Enter data into ERP system and comply with documentation requirements.

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is partnering with a leading aerospace precision gear manufacturer to hire experienced CNC Machinists for a Direct Hire opportunity in Twinsburg, Ohio.Compensation2nd shift only - $4k Sign on Bonus$27.00–$34.00/hour, depending on experience$2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd Shift2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AMThis is a Direct Hire PositionWork from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, machine status boards, and verbal as well as written instructions.Machine and install or re-cut chuck jaws as required.Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets and preform machine set ups.Download and upload programs into machine and make minor programming adjustments as needed.Operate different types of computerized numerical controls to manufacture a finished machined product by performing a wide range of machining operations within tight tolerances.Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure that company quality and quantity standards are maintained and complete required documentation.
