The Opportunity

Our CNC Machinists are responsible for the setup and operation of our state-of-the-art CNC machinery, as well as the quality of the industry leading tools we produce. We are currently hiring for our second shift which covers M-F from 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Under direct supervision, the CNC Machinist will provide support to the CNC production department.

In This Role, You Will

• Setup/edit/maintain CNC tool and cutter grinding machines.
• Perform first piece and in-process inspection of product.
• Setup and operate within established cycle times.
• Assist coworkers in keeping equipment running efficiently.
• Utilize precision and inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

You’ll Bring

• Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a CNC Tool Cutter preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow engineering documentation including but not limited to:
• Geometry specification sheets
• Product drawings
• Job routers
• Process sheets
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability for attention to details.
• Basic mathematical aptitude.
• Occasional climbing stairs, regularly standing, frequently walking, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 70 pounds.
