Job summary

Pentair is seeking a CNC Machinist for the Ashland, OH facility. You will perform setup, teardown, and operation on multiple CNC machines, with on‑the‑job training and mentoring to learn Pentair’s best practices.

You will produce quality parts to spec, perform quality checks, and maintain safety standards. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and the physical stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of experience performing the listed CNC tasks.
• Able to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist during shift; lift up to 50 lb.
• Steel-toed footwear required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down and operate a range of machines (CINCINNATI MILACRON/CINTURNS, CNC 4-Axis).
• Receive on-the-job training and follow best practices.
• Make tool adjustments and replacements as needed.
• Produce quality parts to specification, including deburring and cleaning.
• Perform quality checks, including first piece inspection.

CNC Machinist, 2nd Shift - Ashland, OH

We have an opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join our Ashland, OH team. You will perform a range of duties at the manufacturing facility. Training will be done for multiple production areas, and you could see yourself learning a range of manufacturing support skills.

You will:

• Perform setup/teardowns and operations on a range of machines: CINCINNATI MILACRON/CINTURNS, CNC 4-Axis
• Receive on the job training and mentoring on Pentair's proven best practices.
• Make tool adjustments and replacements as necessary.
• Produce quality parts to specification which may include deburring and cleaning parts.
• Perform quality checks as required, including first piece inspection.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have 3 to 5 years' experience doing the tasks listed above.
• Must be able to read Blueprints and GD&T
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation:

• The hourly pay for this role is $28.54/hour.

Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday
• Overtime required as needed.
