Job summary

Pentair is seeking a CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift in Ashland, OH to set up and operate 4-axis CNC machinery. You will perform tool changes, deburring, cleaning, and first-piece quality checks to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of CNC experience, can read blueprints and GD&T, can lift up to 50 lb, and wear steel-toed shoes. Compensation is $28.54/hour with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of CNC machining experience performing the listed tasks.
• Must be able to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach and twist at the waist throughout shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup/teardowns and operations on a range of machines: Cincinnati Milacron/CINTURNS, CNC 4-Axis.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentoring on Pentair’s best practices.
• Make tool adjustments and replacements as necessary.
• Produce quality parts to specification including deburring and cleaning.
• Perform quality checks as required, including first piece inspection.
• Work productively according to established standard rates.

Compensation

• The hourly pay for this role is $28.54/hour.

Shift

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday – Friday
• Overtime required as needed.
