Job summary

Apparent Technologies in Austin, TX is hiring full-time CNC Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up, operate and monitor CNC mills and lathes, interpreting blueprints and GD&T to manufacture precision components for the semiconductor industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical machining qualifications preferred.
• Familiarity with GD&T, blueprints, and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to ensure correct part production.
• Load materials, fixtures, tooling and setup for production.
• Load and run CNC programs, adjust offsets as needed for accuracy.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections with measuring tools.
• Ensure quality and report nonconformities to supervisors.
• Monitor machine performance, tool wear, and coolant levels; adjust as required.
• Perform daily maintenance and safe operation of equipment.
• Keep work area safe, organized, and compliant with PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with programmers, machinists, and quality teams to optimize processes.
