Job summary

Randstad is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Lee Summit manufacturing team on the 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. You will set up and operate Mori Seiki machines and 2-axis CNC lathes using Fanuc controls to produce high-precision components in a modern, climate-controlled facility.

Candidates should have 4–5+ years of CNC machining experience, be proficient with Fanuc controls, and able to read blueprints and inspect first pieces and ongoing quality checks.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years CNC machining experience (Lathes & Mills) preferred.
• Independent machine setup expertise required.
• Proficient with Fanuc controls.
• Familiarity with Mori Seiki machines.
• Solid blueprint reading and precision measuring skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and mills (Mori Seiki, 2-axis lathes).
• Work with Fanuc controls to inspect, troubleshoot, and optimize machining programs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to maintain tight tolerances.
• Perform first-piece inspections and ongoing quality checks using precision tools.
