A leading placement service is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for a direct-hire position in the Town of Islip, providing competitive pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience with CNC lathes, preferably with Mori Seiki, and be familiar with Fanuc controls. This is a permanent position, and candidates must demonstrate independent programming capabilities and the ability to operate and troubleshoot at the machine. Medical benefits may be fully covered by some clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years professional work with CNC lathes in a precision machining environment.
• Experience with Mori Seiki preferred.
• Ability to set-up, operate, troubleshoot, and edit programs.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC lathes on 1st shift.
• Troubleshoot and edit programs at the machine.
• Perform additional shop duties as assigned.

Connaissances

CNC lathe operation

Fanuc controls knowledge

Independent programming capabilities (Mastercam, SolidWorks)

Formation

High School Diploma or GED
