Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Fountain Valley, CA for a direct-hire, on-site role. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes with Fanuc controls, read blueprints, adjust tooling, and conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with Fanuc controls and CNC machine operation.
• Proficient in the setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision inspection equipment and measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and productivity standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling and turning machines with Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and programs to maintain part quality and production efficiency.
• Load raw materials and fixtures, ensuring proper machine setup and operation.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct routine preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production goals and delivery schedules.
