Job summary

Pentair in Delavan, WI is hiring a Machinist (1st shift) to set up, gauge, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills. You will handle full tooling and fixturing setup, precision measurement, and machining operations to maintain tight tolerances.

Candidates with limited experience but strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply. You will work 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC machining experience required.
• Must have GD&T and print comprehension and understand shop math.
• Able to read part drawings and use gauges to check work.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs; steel-toed shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, gauge, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills.
• Perform tooling and fixturing setup and precision measurement to maintain tight tolerances.
• Read drawings and utilize fixed/adjustable gauges to verify work.
• Maintain proper coolant levels and perform routine machine maintenance.
